For the first time we put our age group policy on hold and had actors aged 11-19 in each play, which suited both plays extremely well. Our Box cast worked as an ensemble to create multiple scenarios of young people swimming against the tide of societal rules. They supported each other beautifully and the performances brought some audience members to tears. The Choir cast created strong comedic characterisations of a group of young people left to fend for themselves in the wild (for 23 minutes with only s'mores, heated cabins and their wits!) and was hilarious. Congratulations to them all!
