Alicia has over 15 years experience as an acting teacher and is also an accomplished actor and director. She trained with Joan Leslie as a youth, then at WAAPA in Perth as a young adult, and has received her Associate Diploma in Teaching through Trinity College London (ATCL).

Her experience as a performer is vast and includes many local theatre productions, television commercials, independent films and a role in The Babadook in 2012 with both her daughters. She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2015 ATG Curtain Call Awards for her role in the thrilling Bracken Moor with Independent Theatre. Most recently she appeared as Judy in Home I'm Darling by Laura Wade with Therry Theatre in August 2023.

Alicia has trained hundreds of students across Adelaide - at Seymour College, Glen Osmond Primary School, Annesley College, Prince Alfred College and Walford Girls School, as well as many private students from her home studio. She has also co-directed two Fringe shows, devised a successful Holiday Theatre Workshop, and run many performance workshops at schools and community groups.

She was resident director for the Junior School Musicals at Seymour College - bringing to the stage The Little Mermaid Jr (2018), Madagascar Jr (2019), Annie Jr (2020) and Moana Jr (2021) as well as co-directing Blood Brothers for PAC (2021), a career highlight. She is currently directing Peter Pan with Inkpot Arts for 2024 Adelaide Fringe.

Alicia was co-founder of the highly successful and award winning youth theatre company Wings2Fly Theatre. From 2017 to 2022 the company produced 18 plays, 2 remounts, 3 junior productions, a Fringe show, a virtual monologue play and various workshops.

In 2022 she created Actually Acting Youth Theatre.
